Bette Bio

Bette Dale Moore is a music and drama teacher with more than 25 years of classroom experience in grades Kindergarten through College. Currently, she teaches music and drama in the public schools where her upper elementary musical RAD: Race Against Drugs is in its 24th year of touring performances. Bette is also the drama director in her home church where she writes and directs both a massive Easter pageant (showing annually to over 8,000) and a weekly Treasure Cove: Spiritual Adventure Series for children’s ministry (now in its 14th year!).

Published by Lillenas Publishing Company (of Kansas City, MO), Bette is a prolific author and composer. Her work covers a wide range of styles and target areas: i.e. Children's Music and Music Curriculum; Dinner Theatre; Readers Theatre; Worship Sketches, Mimes and Musical Theatre Programs. Her most recent creative venture includes three preschool mini-musicals for Christmas, and one for Easter.

Bette and her husband, Bruce live in Nampa, Idaho. 
Their kids and grandkids are all within easy reach  . . .  which is just the way they like it!!
